Membership and Joining

If you are interested in joining FFLHA as a Full Member, please get in touch with the Membership Officer by sending an e-mail to forgottenforceslha@gmail.com. This will allow us to determine whether or not you meet the requirements for membership, which are:

• • An active interest in history and historical re-enactment;

  • A willingness to abide by the Code of Conduct;

Don't worry if you're new or unsure about these, get in touch and we'll gladly help you into the hobby!

Membership itself is free, although you will have to pay to cover the cost of your public liability cover (we can provide this but all payment goes to the insurance company) and getting your membership card printed (if desired). 

You will likely need membership if you intend to purchase RIFs, and this is why we have these requirements: you cannot try and use FFLHA as a way to get around the VCRA 2007, the re-enactment defence only applies to those who are actually involved in re-enacting!
