For the May Bank Holiday weekend, the group made the trek down to Denmead, near Portsmouth for our fourth appearance at The Overlord Show. Theming our display around CR79 - the Summer refresher course undertaken by Bataillon de Fusiliers de Montaigne 15 in 1979 - we showed off weapons, equipment and field gear used, with some rudimentary training on weapons handling, field craft, shooting, drill, and so on.
The show is always a highlight of our event calendar, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
Our next event on the books is Capel on the first weekend of July.
